The Kaia DLT Foundation has partnered with Tether and LINE NEXT Corp. to host the "Kaia Wave Stablecoin Summer Hackathon," targeting developers to build USDt-powered DeFi mini-apps for LINE Messenger's 194 million monthly active users. Winning projects will integrate into LINE's Dapp Portal, enabling stablecoin trading, staking, and yield generation while leveraging Kaia's Web3 ecosystem.

With $1 million in investment credits and $170,000 in prizes across ten teams, submissions open via DoraHacks ahead of an August 25 kickoff at Tokyo's WebX conference. Finalists will present at a September 30 VIRTUAL demo day, supported by Kaia's Season 2 ecosystem grants program.
